Andrew Bond built a guitar nobody asked for: a carbon fiber body with no frets, digital controls, and a stepped "pitchboard" the former bus conductor first tested on an acoustic guitar in 1972. The Edge, Mick Jones, and Dave Stewart all played one. The power supply killed it anyway.
